A ceremony in Milling Barn's beautiful barn requires minimal styling. Our team will never 'overdress' a venue when it already boasts so many natural features. Instead, our professionals know what items to add to truly enhance what already exists. Here, the use of natural florals, simples tones and personalised signage is enough to make barn really shine.

Props provided by Miss Carlysle and Co: Dusty Rose Chiffon Table Runners, Dusty Rose Chiffon Chair Drapes, A Faux White, Green and Dusty Rose Flower Arch, Full Gold Charger Plates, Gold Cutlery, Fairylights and White Paper Lanterns (Ceiling decor), and Gold & Gold Rimmed Tealight Holders.
Our Styling Set Up Service gives our clients piece of mind when getting ready in the morning. They know their venue is in the capable hands of our styling fairies who will bring their vision to life in an efficient and timely manner. Using your chosen hired props we can transform your venue on the morning of your wedding.
On this occasion, our team stayed after the ceremony to repurpose some of the props allowing them to be used again in the wedding breakfast set up. We know weddings can be costly so we will always advise you of what can be reused instead of buying twice! This can also help with the continuity of styling throughout the day.
Dusty Rose and Gold Wedding Colour Palette
The dusty rose and gold wedding colour palette is a beautiful and elegant choice that combines soft, romantic tones with a touch of luxury. This palette is perfect for couples looking to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for their special day.
Here’s a closer look at the elements that make this colour scheme so appealing:
Dusty Rose: The Romantic Hue
Dusty rose is a muted pink that exudes a sense of romance and sophistication. It is versatile and can complement various wedding styles, from rustic to modern. This soft hue works well in:
Bridal Attire: You can incorporate dusty rose through bridesmaid dresses, floral arrangements, or even in their own gown accents.
Floral Arrangements: Dusty rose blooms, such as roses, peonies, or dahlias, can create stunning bouquets and centrepieces.
Decor: Table linens, chair sashes, and other decor elements can feature this lovely shade.
Gold: The Touch of Luxury
Gold adds a sense of opulence and glamour to the wedding palette. It pairs beautifully with dusty rose, enhancing its romantic feel while providing a striking contrast. Gold can be incorporated in various ways:
Tableware: Gold-rimmed plates, cutlery, and glassware can elevate the dining experience.
Accents: Use gold in signage, candle holders, and other decorative elements to add a touch of shine.
Combining Dusty Rose and Gold
When combined, dusty rose and gold create a harmonious and visually appealing aesthetic.
Here are some tips for successfully blending these two colours:
Balance: Use dusty rose as the dominant colour, with gold as an accent to avoid overwhelming the palette.
Textures: Incorporate different textures, such as satin, lace, and metallics, to add depth and interest.
Lighting: Soft lighting can enhance the romantic feel, making dusty rose appear even more enchanting while highlighting the gold accents.
The dusty rose and gold wedding colour palette is a timeless choice that embodies romance and elegance. By thoughtfully incorporating these colours into various elements of the wedding, couples can create a stunning and memorable celebration that reflects their personal style.
