South Farm is a stunning rustic wedding venue in Hertfordshire and the 2023 Wedding Industry Awards winner for the UK's Best Barn Wedding Venue. South Farm is unlike any other with its unique touches such as its organic field-to-fork menu and gorgeous traditional Romany caravans as accommodation.
This week's blog is all about Danielle and Garys wedding at South Farm.
A White Wedding Setup at South Farm
South Farm is a beautiful venue that offers a picturesque setting for a white wedding, particularly with its stunning outdoor options. An outside setup can transform the natural beauty of the surroundings into a dreamy wedding scene.
Outdoor Ceremony - Summerhouse
The outdoor ceremony area at South Farm can be adorned with elegant white decorations. White draping can serve as a stunning focal point. Guests can be seated on white chairs, perhaps with delicate ribbons or sashes to enhance the aesthetic.
Reception Area - Tudor Barn
After the ceremony, the reception can be set up in an adjacent outdoor space. Long banquet tables and round tables dressed in white linens can create a sophisticated look. Centrepieces featuring white flowers in elegant glass vases can add a touch of romance. String fairy lights can be hung above the tables to create a warm, inviting atmosphere as the sun sets.

Summerhouse Ceremony Set Up
One of South Farm's key features is their beautiful Summerhouse used for outdoor ceremonies. This set up was personlised with delicate draping and simple, but stunning florals.
Props provided by Miss Carlysle and Co: White Chiffon Draping, and White Ribbon (For the trees outside).
Wedding Breakfast Set Up at South Farm
As discussed with the couple prior to their day, our team carefully set up the couples own props as well as their hired product. This included careful table stylings, signage and stationery (Bewilderly) co-ordination with other suppliers. Our favourite part of this set up was the intricate weaving of the chair drapes through the chairs which we think really perfected this set up.
