Wedding Stylist Cambridgeshire Shares An Easter Wedding at South Farm

Easter is a great time of year! Spring has arrived, the days are getting longer and the sun is making an appearance!

South Farm is an idyllic barn venue in the heart of Cambridgeshire, which provides the perfect backdrop to your wedding. With lots of gorgeous outdoor space and the loveliest piglets to take photos with, you can see why it’s one of the most popular venues in the county!

We are now a recommended supplier at South Farm, which means we are there often for many different weddings. This is great because we know the venue and the team well, so can work together flawlessly on your special day!

Back in April, we styled L&M’s wedding at the beautiful South Farm. We first headed over to the church to set up the signage and candles. Whilst the church was gorgeous, adding some decor here just helped bring the entire wedding theme and colours throughout the day.

We then headed back to South Farm to assist with the styling setup. L&M provided a lot of their own items which we styled with our own props to create the perfect look. The overall styling was to compliment the venue with soft gold accents. To elevate the look we provided our gold charger plates with gold cutlery along with tealight which went perfectly with the items L&M sourced.

L&M DIY’d their centerpieces which went perfectly with the overall styling and it being easter. Gold accents can really elevate the overall look and the couple leaned into this with their styling. The florals were kept simple, to add a pop of colour without taking anything away from the table decor.

The place names were animals with calligraphy names placed in them. Each guest had a different animal which was then sprayed gold and went perfectly with the theme. It was definitely a talking point throughout the day!
