Wedding Planner Hertfordshire Shares What does a wedding planner do on your wedding day

You may wonder what a wedding planner does on the day of the wedding, also known as 'On the day coordination' (please note this is different to a venue coordinator, who is there to manage the venue on the day).

A wedding planner, on the day is there to oversee everything, from coordinating your suppliers, to checking the logistics, to putting your veil in, we are not limited to a few things we are happy to get involved wherever we can.

Including but not limited to...

  • Creating a Wedding File - On the Day Plan

  • Take over communicating with suppliers 4-6 weeks prior

  • Bringing our emergency wedding kit

  • A Venue Meeting / Visit

  • Set up / Take Down

  • On the Day Management & Coordination of Suppliers

  • Wedding Admin

  • Executing the day of your dreams

  • Overseeing the Logistics

  • Providing my expertise

  • 8 hours on the day and 12 hours prior to your wedding date

Your wedding planner will support you to make sure the day is perfect and help answer any questions about how the day is going to run. By coordinating every order of event with the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, speeches, cake cutting and the first dance.

There may be things during the day that you wouldn't even consider, such as tidying the bridal suite, discreetly handling any difficult situation that arise, having a wedding day emergency kit (full of lots of goodies you might not even consider), making sure all of the decor is placed in the right place and that you are encouraging the suppliers where they need to set up.

Completely taking the stress out of the day, completing all of the behind the scenes tasks!

Hiring a wedding planner on the day is perfect for making sure the day runs smoothly.
