Wedding Planner Hertfordshire Shares Elegant Sage and Green Inspiration from Offley Place

Offley Place is a luxury Country House set in the heart of Hertfordshire with a 27-acre parkland, providing the beautiful backdrop for the shoot.

We were the planners and stylists for this inspiration shoot with a green and white colour palette. Amy planned the shoot, bringing together local suppliers to bring their inspiration shoot to life; Beth styled the shoot and worked with the inspiration to bring it to life.

The Bride & Groom

The real couple, Michelle and Jon, were the models for the day. Holly of Carter Hair and Makeup styled Michelle’s look:

“I’m a sucker for romance and anything soft and feminine. I absolutely loved creating this beautiful modern take on Hollywood waves. It’s such a dreamy look and has been very popular this year. I added current bridal makeup, a natural yet full face, and definition around the eyes to add some gentle drama to go with the waves.”

The bridal ensemble consisted of a dress from Morgan Davies Bridal jewellery from Nu Jewellery by Emma , and hair accessories from Pearl & Hugo.

Jon wore his own suit for the occasion. Their outfits were both completed with flowers from Willow & Blue Flower Studio.

The dress was beautiful and simple, with detailing down the front, the pearls adding a white and silver accents to the dress.

The Tablescape

Offley Place is nestled in expansive gardens and grounds, and the colours in the beautiful conservatory complement this with an abundance of natural light.

The tablescape was focused on the colour palette with the gold, white and green being shown through the decor. The florals complemented the table, filling the table with florals.

We provided the table decor through the gold charger plates with white plates, gold cutlery, gold candlestick holders & clear candlestick holders with white and green candlesticks, gold tealight holders & gold rimmed tealight holders to finish the look on the table - Miss Carlysle & Co

The Outdoor Ceremony

The ceremony arch from Samsa May’s was decorated with wild florals was set against the contrasting backdrop of the country house.

The Portraits

Howard of AbsolutePhotoUK made the most of the ground to capture these relaxed portraits.

The Stationery

Francesca Weddings beautifully echoed the colour palette and florals. The stationery was simple & elegant, with a wax stamp complementing the invitations with the detailing on the envelope for your guests to open. The colour palette truly represented the sage green, completed with the florals around the invitation.

The Wedding Cake

Kelly’s Cake Kitchen - The cake was designed around an elegant English garden. Offley Place is nestled in broad gardens and grounds, the colours in the beautiful conservatory complement this. The cake needed to tie this together with a white buttercream finish, an elongated and textured middle tier and rustic edges. Dressed with white blooms and green foliage from Willow and Blue Flower Studio. With the abundance of natural light in this venue, and the combination of the florals and fabrics, this wedding inspiration was filled with luxurious touches but understandable elegance.
