Wedding Planner Hertfordshire Shares a Spring Wedding Inspiration at Bradbourne House

A spring wedding, the wedding season is just kicking off in late March, the couples are ready, the suppliers are ready, the venues are set. The days are getting longer, the flowers are blooming, the colours of Spring are coming through in inspirations.

On the blog this week is a shoot from Bradbourne House captured by Natalie D. Photography, with the floral arrangements from Kate Wren. The grounds at Bradbourne House are breathtaking, twenty acres of grounds, with surrounding parkland is the perfect backdrop for after-ceremony images during the drinks reception. Being able to fill the garden with lawn games, a cocktail bar, a champagne bar and much more. Capturing those picture perfect moments.

Bradbourne House is exclusively available from 10:00am till 11:30pm, giving you the chance to relax, get ready for the day and not feel as if you are having to rush around. Complete with a lake, a waterfall, a fruit orchard and the grounds for your guests to explore.

Top Tips for a wedding at Bradbourne House

- Use the space wisely

- Embrace the surroundings

- Natural tones with the light and airy feel

- Consider a soft, romantic setting

The Bride

The lighting is perfect for your wedding day, with the big windows, open rooms and large grounds to work with.

The Table Styling

'Hire the Look provided the modern cutlery and timeless glassware elevated which created this table set up for a romantic, intimate wedding. The gold accents shine through the table, complementing the pastel colors of blush, white and green.

Jacqui at Peonies and Paperclips created neutral tones and plenty of tactile finishes adding textures on the stationery through blindde-bossing and clear foil to create a feminine floral look.'

Kate Wren worked her magic with her floral arrangements, such as the floral arrangement around the old fireplace, the centrepieces on the table and the bouquet filled with pastel English roses and white anemones completing the look.

The styling inspiration was a silk-draped table setting, using the light and sophisticated area within Bradbourne House.

The Florals

Spring florals... being able to adore pastel colour schemes with greens, pinks, creams, yellows, blues. Bringing out the true beauty of the months between March and June, the true romantic months with the fresher florals.

Delicate blooms and sweet scents...

The Details

'The first Wtoo Watters gown portrays empowerment with a stunning soft lace neckline, the look was completed with ’50s-inspired hair and makeup created by Nina Gregory.

Second, the Turin gown by Signature Justin Alexander radiates a bold and fearless look with a classic updo looked well with the dramatic sleeves and incredible details of this statement gown.

The dress made by Wtoo Watters oozed with whimsical romance with puff sleeves and airy layers. I dreamed of this dress floating through the main hall of Bradbourne House with the portraits from Bradbourne’s past watching. Besides, this dress looked great with a stunning headband created by Miss Clemmie, with the neutral tones that compliment the rest of the elements of this shoot.

Nina Gregory pampered the bride with soft, timeless, and flattering styles. The hair stylist worked her magic by pinning back the bride’s hair with handmade floral clips from Miss Clemmie Accessories. '

Bradbourne House is perfect for those little details...

Outside Photography

Spring months bring out the brighter evenings, the warmer evenings, the positive moods... time of renewal and new life.

The Cake

'A three-tiered cake made by Emily’s Mixing Bowl. While this saccharine creation featured delicate sugar flowers, the hand-painted flicks and the blush rose bubbles made it unique. Cake and bubbles...'

The Venue

During the earlier months of the year e.g. March / April you will have more of a chance to secure the suppliers that are going to be perfect for your wedding day, you have more options for the day you want without worrying about the high demand for Fridays and Saturdays.

You may find that venues have potential discounts in these earlier months and you may find friends and family have more availability as the summer months can be very busy for families.

Marrying in the Spring season, standing out from the crowd and being able to put your own twist on your special day.
