Wedding Planner Cambridgeshire Shares An Autumnal Vibe at Little Tey Barn

Updated: Apr 6, 2021

The purpose of this shoot was to show of the venue styling from Miss Carlysle and Co & Amy Raven Weddings with the support and props from Anthology Vintage Hire

Laura from Laura Jane Photography brought her a game to the shoot, Laura’s light and airy images really complimented the autumnal feel with vintage furniture. They really brought out the barn which is darker, it can make it the perfect space for your day.

This intimate wedding is perfect for the current climate with weddings being at a limited amount of guests. We truly showed this off by having a limited number of lounge chairs at the ceremony, giving off a relaxed vibe to the day.

We decided to have a sweetheart table to share with couples that due to the current guidelines, you might be unable to sit with your family and friends, however you can make it truly special with having a sweetheart table, making it special and beautiful with the details.

We focused on the little details with the lanterns, the tealights, the colour palette, bringing out the romance through the little details.

Laura Jane Photography focused on the bridal shots with the bride and the bridesmaid. Focusing on the details, from the hair, the make up, the lace on the dress and the accessories.

Table Styling

Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co & Amy from Amy Raven Weddings have teamed up together once again to create the table of dreams, an intimate table setup, adhering to the social distancing rules. With the blacks, the golds, the burnt oranges, the burgundy’s, really bringing out the autumnal styling, with the peacock chairs and the wooden table from Anthology Vintage Hire. Intimate table styles are the way forward, with having your closest friends and family around you.

Tea Party

Having a tea party set up, rather than a full 3 tiered wedding cake because everyone will be able to take home a cupcake, which also can save a couple money and they can spend this elsewhere in their budget- Very Vintage Tea Party

The Bride

Bridal Hair by Marina stated ‘The hair styles I created for this pretty styled shoot at Little Tey Barn, were with a timeless elegance that would suit most styles of wedding. Chignon can be created using a small amount of padding at the nape of the neck and twisting the hair over the padding or smoothing the hair around the padding’. Marina created two effortlessly beautiful hairstyles on our bride and bridesmaid. Truly stunning creations.

Make up by Faye Neill stated ‘I created the makeup looks for the photoshoot. Pretty peaches and glowing skin for the bridesmaid, and a palette of soft pinks for the bridal look’.

The Ceremony

Shelley Bell is an independent family celebrant who provides services beautifully tailored and unique wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, naming ceremonies and sensitive funeral ceremonies across Essex and East Anglia’. Shelley's work allows for weddings to be held in gardens, on boats, in castles, in fields, anywhere you dream of! Giving you freedom to have the wedding of your dreams.

Outdoor Shots

Lounge Area

Anthology Vintage Hire worked closely with Miss Carlysle and Co to bring the styling to life. Anthology Vintage Hire are an experienced furniture and prop hire company, specialising in vintage, rustic wares. For our autumnal, vintage feel shoot at Little Tey Barn, Anthology provided luxurious lounge furniture, which could be reused for the ceremony & the chilled, lounge area for the evening of a wedding.

C Taylor’s Floristry stated - 'To bring together the beautiful vision for this styled shoot at Little Tey Barn, we used florals full of colour and texture to reflect the change of the season. Using dark purple Cotinus foliage as a real contrast against the lighter peach and blush pink florals, these beautiful tones really complimented the theme of the shoot. We teamed lush, trailing foliages with an abundance of Pink Mondial Roses, Peach Avalanche Roses, Champagne Lisianthus, and stunning 'Apple Tea' and 'Antigua' Carnations. Trailing Pink Peppercorns added that wow factor to the Bridal Bouquet and gave the most incredible scent! Add in the gorgeous silk ribbons, and the bouquet really was something beautiful. '

The Venue

The Stationery

Lucy from Paper Swan stated she ‘designed a stationery collection for the styled shoot, that would work with the rustic vintage theme. It featured a dusty pink leaf motif with romantic typeface, printed on recorded paper and vellum. It was finished with matching envelopes and a wax seal’.

With love,

Beth and Amy xxx
