Long Furlong Farm... what a truly beautiful blank canvas venue based in the Northamptonshire countryside - Alina from Saras Events Flowers and Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co joined forces again with bringing together this dusty rose and green colour palette at Long Furlong Farm, which meant that the shoot was filled with colour through the flowers and styling.
Using a styling vision and creative minds to bring you this beautiful shoot. The bridal dresses from Ivory and Lace were stunning, really drawing the attention to the detail. Styled to perfection with our two beautiful models. The table styling was brought together by Alina and Beth, focusing on the pinks and greens, with the delicate rims, candles and florals. With some of the prop hire coming from Wren Prop Hire. Flat lays with the stationery coming from Tiggity Boo, flowing with the ribbons, florals and accessories. Tiggity boo stated - 'I love colour and adore working with florals so designing the stationery for this was a dream. Dusky pink dahlias set against rich ivory was perfect for the rural setting of the shoot and matched beautifully with the floral designs by Sara's Flowers and Events'.
Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co stated that she loves working with the flat lay, making sure that all of the stationery was being shown off, with added silky ribbons and beautiful blooming florals from Alina.
Beths 'Wedding Day Emergency Kit' has ribbons in which are useful for completing the look for a flat lay.
Our make up artist, Yvonne stated 'During lockdown I had to overhaul my whole kit and think about the opportunity for cross-contamination in response to Covid-19. I had put in place a whole new system for makeup applications, when just 4 days before the shoot Boris did a complete turnaround and postponed all face to face services for another 2 weeks! Instead of letting it get in the way of the shoot, it was agreed that I would perform the application in a socially distant manner and direct the model on how to apply her own makeup using my products and techniques. So this was the first time I'd be using my kit and set up with my new procedures since before the pandemic. I was very lucky that Zoe was extremely competent in applying her own makeup as from behind my mask, visor and apron, and advising Zoe from a 2 metre distance, it wasn't the easiest job! I could barely see, surprisingly couldn't hear very much, and I realised that a lot of my artistic processes are based on emotion and intuition rather than paint by numbers technique. With the theme of the shoot being dusty pink, I had purchased a beautiful glitter by NYX that looked absolutely stunning on the model, and I used that as the basis of the look. Teamed with pink cheeks from Becca and a light pink lip, the look had a light and romantic look that suited perfectly. The foundation was a mixture of Charlotte Tilbury and Illamasqua Skin Base to give a flawless finish to the whole look'.
Outside of the blank canvas barn at Long Furlong Farm there is a long walkway down to the ceremony area, which is by the lake with the fields out the back (perfect for backdrops for your images), you get to create a chilled outdoor area with your closest friends and family. This space truly shows off your outfit, from your dress / outfit and the suit, so much outdoor space for confetti shots with your florals / confetti.
Keshell from Liquid Mobile Bar worked her bar magic, by creating some cocktails and flavoured prosecco, (always tastes amazing!!) which can add the wow factor to your wedding with welcome drinks, drinks throughout the day and right through to the evening.
