Wedding Planner Bedfordshire Shares How to Propose to your Bridesmaids

Proposing to your bridesmaids is almost as exciting as the actual proposal! If you're anything like me you have been talking about your big day with your closest friends forever and I can't wait for the time when I get to share that special journey with them. Here are some fun ways you can ask your nearest & dearest to be a part of your special day.

1. Dinner & a gift

Organise a nice meal out with your friends (lockdown dependant) and give them a personalised gift. These candles by Lolly Rocket Candle Co are super gorgeous and something they can reuse in the future.

2. Proposal Box

Proposal boxes are so gorgeous and such a lovely way to propose to your bridesmaids. You can find multiple places online to purchase these with each one offering something different to suit all budgets.

3. Jewellery

Jewellery is such a personal gift and giving your bridesmaids something like this from Alacrity Gifts is so special. Not only can it be personalised, it is something they can all wear on your special day!

4. Backyard Picnic

With the current climate, it is so difficult to celebrate anything! If you're thinking of having 5 bridesmaids then the current rule of 6 (once lockdown is over) is perfect, if you are having more then you may just have to wait a bit longer for this fab idea!

Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co Events has bespoke packages including a picnic package, which is just perfect for getting your nearest and dearest round to pop the question! I think this is such a lovely, gorgeous idea and it can easily turn in to cocktails and a mini hen do! Head over to her website to find out more!

5. Hampers & a Doorstep Drop

Again with the current climate we have to be inventive when it comes to celebrating and people are finding it difficult. Why not create a hamper each for you and your bridesmaids! It can contain whatever you want and be personalised to your friends.

I would fill a wicker basket with face masks, bath bombs, a bottle of fizz, some chocolates, a candle and something personalised. It could be something as simple as a card or something relaxing like PJ's or a dressing gown.

Drop these off at your friends doorsteps, but make sure they don't open them. Set up a zoom call that evening with all of them, order your fav takeaway and pop the question virtually. You all have the perfect ingredients for a cosy pamper night!

However you decide to propose to your bridesmaids, I'm sure they will love it! Even in these crazy times you can have fun and celebrate with your nearest and dearest.
