In the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, Longstowe Hall is just a stones throw from our Owner and Senior Stylist, Beth, so she is very familiar with the venue and can offer specialist advice.

This week on the blog is all to do with Kate and Dan's wedding at Longstowe Hall back in October 2023.

Kate and Dan booked us to set up all of their props, as well as to provide our own styling items.

Styling Set Up Service

Have you got your own wedding vision and want support putting it all together on the day of your wedding so that you have an stress-free morning and enjoy getting ready?

You have DIYed your wedding, gathering and creating all of your props, all boxed up and organised, and you would like to enjoy the morning of your wedding and not worry about setting up. Our stylist setup service is perfect for you.

We are a trusted team of stylists who will take care of every detail in your setup. It is perfect for dry-hire venues and venues with restricted set-up times or needing to have a turnaround after the ceremony. We will follow your instructions and create your wedding set up, we will use our expert eyes to set up all of the decor as well as oversee the suppliers (who we have agreed beforehand to liaise with).

Before your wedding day, we will book a site visit at your venue to chat about the placement for the decor and chat through your ideas, giving our expert opinions to fill in any gaps you might have.

The next day (or at midnight if your venue requires this) we will pack away our items so that you do not need to worry about packing down.

Ceremony

A key feature of Longstowe Hall is it's 800 Acres of re-wilded nature reserves. What more could you want for an outdoor ceremony? Typically for an outdoor ceremony we can provide items such as aisle runners, chair sashes & drapes, linen/floral arches and items to line the aisle such as candles and lanterns.

For Kate and Dan, our large gold lanterns and large LED Pillar Candles were the perfect addition the their nature inspired, neutral palette set up.

Wedding Breakfast

This wedding breakfast look was created by really focussing on the gold accents.

Pairing gold items with a white decor against the plain backdrop of the white canvas of the marquee which created a timeless and classy vision. The use of gold cutlery and beaded charger plates allowed us the incorporate hints of colour without reducing the natural light of the venue.
