Wedding Planner Cambridgeshire Shares a Modern + Sleek Styled Shoot Bridal Inspiration

🤍🌿🖤

Today on the blog is a bridal shoot with a modern, classic vibe from Lam D Peretti. This shoot was stripped back, bringing the simplicity into the shoot with a green colour palette. The greenery brings a pop of colour, with the white to complement the whole look. This concept shows that you can still bring a beautiful wedding to life even with a simple and minimal wedding style. The little details brought the shoot to life, with a hand painted cake to the ombre veil.

"Not every wedding has to be over the top to be memorable and beautiful. Sometimes simplicity brings an extra touch of extravagantness in itself. The monochromatic with a pop of greenery colour scheme of this wedding delivers a modern look and vibe. This wedding is for the bride who is modern with a touch of lasting clean and classic look for their wedding day. This is a look that can be re-created for the brides who are more budget conscious. Brides who are detail oriented can gain inspiration from this concept. From the intricate hand painted cake to the geometric hair clip, the beauty of this wedding really is in the “little” details that really bring everything together. The greenery brings a pop of colour and life while still keeping it a clean look. This concept shows that you can have an equally beautiful wedding with a simpler colour scheme and styling while remaining elegant and exquisite. The inspiration for the shoot was for the modern editorial brides. We wanted to keep it as classic and elegant as possible. This look can be recreated using simplistic styling and décor with a touch of greenery to add life to the look. Brides to be can easliy keep all their glass bottles and add water and a sprig of greenery or white candles to simply re-create the décor. The top tip of recreating this tip is to keep it simple and colour pallet to a limit of neutrals with a pop of greenery". "The venue was at The Art House in the city entre of Wakefield. Established in 1994 by a diverse group of artists, The Art House places equality of access and higher diversity in contemporary visual arts practice at the core of all our programmes".

Bridal Inspiration

"The hair and makeup was a clean and fresh look. Bronte’s hair was in a classic updo with delicate loose strains along with a geometric hair pin by Peacock and Pearl. Her makeup was kept clean and natural to enhance her natural beauty with a detialed gold line work for the eyes. The velvet lined veil elevated the look further for a more traditional bridal look while still keeping it unique and modern at the same time".

"This shoot inclues two styles of wedding dresses provided by Wakefield Reloved Bridal. The first dress is a David Fielden and the second is a Enzoani. They are both form fitting dresses to keep the look elegant and sophisticated. The David Fielden dress is a mixture of traditional delicate lace and silk with a modern sleek silhouette. The Enzoani dress is a more classic look with its beading, lace, strapless form fitting dress".

The Table

"The two back drop provided by Elizabeth James Events perfectly fitted the theme of the shoot. The greenery backdrop with the neon Happily Ever After signage kept in line with the sophisticated vibes and colour palette. They also provided the modern white grated backdrop behind the cake table that added another modern texture to the shoot".

The Cake

"The handpainted geometric tier with gold speck is modern, bold and eye catching. The matching meringue, decorated shortbread, and cake pops as wedding favours keep the look minimal, consistent, and really bring the look together".

The Flowers

"The florals and greenery was one of the post important aspect of this shoot as it really brings a breath of life and freshness to the look. We wanted to keep the colour palette of the florals to whites and especially green to keep it looking clean and classic. The bridal bouquet consisted of shades of green and whites which any bride can pull off and can go with almost any wedding themes and styles for a timeless look. The beautiful styling was done by Dheyna from Smitten Weddings with rentals from Event Hire UK. The styling included the sleep and modern ghost chairs with modern neutral coloured plates and ultensils paired with classic silver rimmed glasses to keep the look elegant. The centerpieces of glass bottles with water, greenery sprigs, and candles are gorgeously unique, clean, and best of all they are easy for any brides to recreate".
