Choosing the best dress of your life...
◾️Why you do what you do
We do what we do because we love doing it! We love the feeling that brides get when they come in and have an amazing time with us.
It shouldn't be a chore to find your dress! It should be the most fantastic and fabulous experience from start to finish, complete with prosecco, tears and finding that dream dress!
◾️What you love most about the industry
It's such a friendly industry, so many suppliers that become close friends and everyone helps eachother out! If you need a photographer, we know one, if you need a florist, we know one! We've even sampled their work ourselves! That way, we know we can recommend it and knowing what to expect.
◾️Favourite Creation
With so many dresses in store, it's hard to choose just one favourite. We have a gorgeous gown in from Paul Zeni currently. A beautiful ball gown with a corset back and long train. It's off the shoulder with intricate lace all round the bottom of the skirt, and the bodice. We have the chamchampagne version, but it does come in ivory.
Our favourite dress that ISN'T a ball gown would have to be a stunning trumpet style from Sophia Tolli. Modern lace applique and 3D flowers, paired with a matching long sleeved lace jacket, transforming the entire dress completely.
◾️Choosing a theme
It's so hard to choose a theme for your wedding! Most people decide their dress based on their venue and what they envision the overall look to be.
◾️Tips and Tricks
It's best to get your dress around a year before your wedding. This allows time for it to be made, arrive in store and have any necessary alterations done to it.
It is always best to try on different shapes and styles when first trying on dresses. Even if it’s just to rule them out, but you can often be surprised. Experiment with different accessories as you never know what will work. We always suggest wearing little or no makeup when attending appointments. We wouldn’t want any makeup on our Dresses as they are occasionally sold 'off the rail’, so we aim to keep our stock dresses as good as new!
And finally, just relax! This should be a fun experience for you and your bridal party!
