There is no such thing as the best time of the year to get married, it depends on your preference... Spring and Summer are known for being the most expensive months, you need to decide on your date around your wedding budget. The most popular times of the year are June, September and October, more months are becoming popular such as July and August. These seasons get booked up quickly, deciding your date early is vital.
It is stated on Hitched that the cheapest dates at the moment in January, March, April and November in 2020 (subject to change).
During Spring, the evenings are starting to get longer again, is it a beautiful time of the year and does mark a new start. However, there is a higher chance of rain.
During this time of the year between the months of July, August and September, you have more of a chance to have warmer evenings, brighter sunshine and more photo opportunities.
During this season, you may have golden evenings which fits in well with rustic wedding ideas, with the barns fitting here.
During Winter, there more excitement at this time of the year, as there is the Christmas charm. Winter can be a cheaper month, but around Christmas and New Years is can start to get more expensive again.
