Lorna from Lorna Mair Events is covering Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex for all of your coordination needs.

About Lorna:

  • I’ve often enjoyed being classed as the ‘most organised’ friend and I’ve always had a passion for making people smile, so starting my business in 2018 combined both of these things and made it my job. I’ve devoted all my free time since then to learning everything I can about the event industry (and I’ll continue to do so) to ensure I can give the best service to all clients who choose to trust me, Lorna Marie Events with their event planning.


  • I would describe myself as a positive, glass half-full kind of person, a trait I endeavour to bring into every interaction I have.

Supporting you in your final steps before the decisions you’ve been debating come to life. You will hand over your wedding day plans to me and I will ensure everyone involved is singing from the same hymn sheet in the lead up to your special day.

This service includes:

We will arrange a site-visit for us to attend together; sit down and discuss what has been confirmed, what’s in its final stages and what is therefore left to do; delegate on-the-day duties so all who are responsible know their ‘when’ and ‘where’ and handover all relevant contact details so that I can introduce myself as the main point of contact on the day that matters most.

Day Before

I am present on-site for 3 hours on the set-up day allowing me to refamiliarise myself with the space/location, meet important members of the bridal party and match faces to names, set out cutlery and glassware where required, problem-solve any last-minute niggles, practice with any PA systems and run-through final timeline of the day to ensure a relaxed day is had by all.

On the Day

I am present on-site for 10 hours and my duties include but are not limited to:

  • meeting and greeting suppliers showing them where to set-up;

  • complete styling of any table decoration e.g. stationery or place names; lighting candles; moving welcome signs;

  • introducing the couple for dinner.

Miss Carlysle and Co - Weddings and Events

Beth from Miss Carlysle and Co is our in-house stylist, is covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

Facts about Beth:


  • Loves dogs and cats

  • Loves nature walks

  • Lives with her three cats Rori, Jasper and Casper in the Cambridgeshire countryside 

  • Favourite drinks - Pornstar Martinis & Pink Gin and Lemonade

  • A spring wedding - the pastel colours and the warmer weather.

  • She loves the evening of the wedding reception, guests are relaxed, drinks are flowing and everyone is dancing up a storm on the dance floor.

At Miss Carlysle and Co we strive to make your wedding day easy and stress-free so you can relax and enjoy the most important day. From dressing your chairs to hanging fairy lights and setting out the stationery, our job is to ensure that you do not need to do any of the setup.
