Destination of Dreams

'This wedding inspiration shoot is abundant in dreamy, elegant, boho inspiration. A perfect harmony of talented British and Mexico wedding suppliers. Taking inspiration from the native Blue Agave plant, otherwise known as the base ingredient for 'Tequila', to create an aspirational love story for a bride’s dream destination wedding. Through innovative floral designs and styling, captivating scenery and effortlessly chic bridal wear, an inspiring tale of a bride lost in her own imagination was captured'.

  • Stress-free wedding

The Venue

Tip - Once the destination has been chosen, book a wedding planner (like Kristee from Fresa Weddings!) to make your experience all the more enjoyable and relieve that pressure and stress so you can enjoy your engagement. Wedding planners based in the area you are getting married in, already have great relationships and know all the perfect, reliable and trusted suppliers and have years of experience to bring your wedding vision to life.

The Stationery and Details

The colour palette is influenced by the main floral features - blue agave and the soft blush tones within the king protea. All other colours are neutral and predominantly green to enhance the tropical destination setting; with subtle blue and gold accents throughout the styling. The untouched and natural colours of the sea, villa and beachy setting suggested everything else to be kept clean, crisp and fresh to complement the stunning surroundings.

The Bride

'For this editorial, we reflected the villa’s clean and fresh ambience with neutral colourings and earthy florals to create a natural and light style'.

The Table Styling

The Ceremony

Created by the very talented Vanessa Jaimes, the most sought-after florist on the Riviera Maya; the floral designs were completely unique and modern. Inspired by the blue agave plant, designs were tropical and exuded pure boho luxe vibes. With a mixture of dried and fresh florals and plants, Vanessa’s designs flirt between boho and modern styles, creating this dreamy harmonious and earthy feel to the editorial.

The Evening

Tip - Keep your wedding authentic with subtle hints inspired by the destination and local area. For this editorial, the blue agave plant which is the base ingredient for ‘tequila’ was the core floral focus, white hacienda styled chairs were also a nod towards the destination’s culture, making the styling genuine and authentic in a subtle manner.
